Instructions
Prep the Oven and Pan
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease a large baking dish to prevent sticking.
Arrange and Layer the Ingredients
- Place the pork chops evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of brown sugar over the top of each pork chop.
- Add 1 tablespoon of butter on top of each chop (cut into a square or slice for even melting).
Add Sauces
- Drizzle the soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce evenly over the pork chops.
Bake Covered
- Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil.
- Bake for 40 minutes to allow the chops to cook through and absorb flavor.
Bake Uncovered
- After 40 minutes, remove the foil and return the dish to the oven.
- Bake uncovered for an additional 20 minutes. The brown sugar will caramelize and the tops of the pork chops will turn golden and slightly crispy.
Serve
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving to retain juices.
- Serve with mashed potatoes, roasted veggies, or rice to soak up the flavorful glaze.
