- Stir frequently as the cheese begins to melt, ensuring it doesn’t stick or burn.
- Continue stirring until the cheese is completely melted and smooth. If the dip is too thick, add more milk gradually to loosen the consistency.
Add Flavor
- Stir in the green chiles, chopped jalapeños, cumin, and garlic powder. Mix well.
- Taste and add salt as needed.
- Keep the heat on low and continue to cook for another 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld.
Serve
- Serve the dip warm in a bowl with tortilla chips, nachos, or drizzle over burritos, tacos, or fajitas.
- Optional garnish: chopped cilantro or a sprinkle of chili powder.
