Crush the Crackers
- Place crackers in a Ziploc bag and use a rolling pin to crush them into fine crumbs. This ensures the coating sticks well to the chicken.
Mix the Coating
- In a bowl, combine the crushed crackers with mozzarella, Parmesan, cheddar, Italian seasoning, garlic salt, black pepper, and the dry ranch packet. Mix thoroughly to create the cheesy breading mixture.
Prep the Chicken
- Lightly coat each chicken breast with ranch dressing on both sides. This helps the coating adhere and boosts the ranch flavor.
Bread the Chicken
- Press each ranch-coated chicken breast into the cracker-cheese mixture, coating evenly and pressing gently to help it stick.
Bake
- Place the coated chicken breasts into a greased 9×12 inch baking dish.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20–25 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the top is golden and crispy.
Serve
- Let rest for 2–3 minutes before serving.
- Pair with roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a crisp green salad for a complete meal.
